Driving Airbus

Meet Airbus! - A 1989 37’ Airstream Motorhome. There were only 34 of these beasts built by Airstream and only 5 remain on the road today in the U.S. I purchased Airbus (formally Rareair) from David Lincoln “Linc” in Seattle Washington in late 2023. Airbus is almost completely original and has been featured in national publications as one of the “greatest motorhomes ever built”. I brought her across country with one of my travel buddies and we had a fabulous time. Airbus is now under light renovations to get the mechanical systems back up to speed so she can be a reliable home and domestic travel base camp for me. Once finished, Airbus will serve as my N. America based “tiny home” and Quixote (my 87’ motorsailer) will serve as my international “tiny home”. My goal is to use these two MOBILE homes to travel the world in and share those experiences with others who want to experience and enjoy this minimalistic nomadic lifestyle. Acquiring Airbus to compliment my minimalistic nomadic lifestyle is a life long dream - and along with Quixote - fulfills my goals of living a life filled with adventure, exploration and excitement.
