I created and managed a Private Investment Company for over five years that conducted investment operations to create generational wealth for its Partners by outperforming the S&P 500 index over the long-term. 

I now invest our family's personal finances utilizing the same investment process that I relied upon for the company. For my investment decisions, I use a value oriented multi-disciplined model inspired by Benjamin Graham, Warren Buffett, Charlie Munger, Howard Marks, and other value investment greats.  This investment process utilizes the four filters developed by Warren Buffett to determine strong potential investment candidates and then incorporates three additional filters coalesced from the teachings of other value-investing practitioners.  These filters are:

This unique multi-disciplined approach to analyzing raw financial data and identifying human nature miscues in the market is the primary competitive advantage.  Operational freedom is another important competitive advantage that insulates my decisions from the constant pressures manifested by main-stream speculators.  Moreover, I enjoy minimal expenses compared to working with mutual or hedge funds.
