One Man's Search For Meaning

Pilot

Navy Flight Trainee

Began flying in 1996 for the U.S. Coast Guard as a Navy Flight Student in Pensacola, FL in Training Squadron Two (VT-2). Finished my multi-engine and instrument ratings in Corpus Christi, TX in Training Squadron Thirty-One (VT-31).

Coast Guard Rescue and Law Enforcement Pilot

Served as a Coast Guard Pilot for 5 years at Air Station Miami and Corpus Christi. I flew in support of several high profile cases including Hurricane Katrina and several multi-country law enforcement operations. This was one of the best jobs in the world!

Military Flight Instructor

Flew for Training Squadron Thirty-One (VT-31) as a flight instructor. I was in this position for 10 of my 20 years in the Coast Guard before I retired from the military. It was an incredible experience and I consider it the best job in the world. Training young men and woman from the Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and Marines to become our next generation of military pilots was the pride of my professional pilot career.

Airline Pilot

I am now a pilot for a major airline that affords me the opportunity to fly all over the world for my work and with my children and friends for pleasure. It is a dream come true.
